About Department

Owing to the fact that the developments in the power sector and increasing demand for electrical energy and automation in industry,department was established in the year 2006.the role of an electrical engineer encompasses the design and development of more efficient electrical machinery,power systems, and control equipment for host of industrial applications,of which some include generation ,transmission and distribution of eletrical energy.The department has experienced faculty.While assigning projects and electives,care is taken to train students for a wider employment potential.the department is constantly involved in research activities,also provides extensive testing facilities.
