BLDEA established Shree Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji Polytechnic, Vijayapura, in 1986-87 to provide quality education in the technical field for all strata of society. It is conveniently located on Ashram Road, beside BLDEA's VP Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering & Technology, Vijayapur. It is about 3 km from the bus stand and 6 km from the Railway station. It has excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories with the latest models and experienced faculty who deploy ICT tools for teaching. The institute teaches practice-oriented subjects that meet current industrial subjects and provides placement opportunities through campus recruitment drives. Also, special scholarship is offered to all deserving students. Separate hostels for boys and girls, state-of-the-art facilities and good security are provided.
